1-Why you chose the place;

I chose this place cause I wanted to understand its importance and how it came to be because when I had just come to TRU it was the one place I could go to get my mind off how much I missed home without knowing it had become a big part in my university experience.

2- What you have enjoyed about connecting with it;

I enjoyed observing and learning the different things my place has to offer like the animals and birds that call my place home.

3- What chapter/section did you connect to the easiest, and what was the connection?

Chapter 6 because it shows how we experience places with our bodies and how places get meaning over time like where people always walk, sit and meet. The paths, benches and lights help create our mental map of the area that guide how we move and remember the space. It’s also an everyday landscape meaning it looks ordinary but still reflects the school’s values like order, safety and routine.

4- One thing you are grateful to your place about;

I’m grateful to my place for the good atmosphere it has

5- One reason my place might feel grateful for me;

My place could be grateful to me that I spent time to learn about it and appreciate it.
