1. Why I chose this place? I chose this place because it has an amazing view of the inner city of Kamloops and it was also the place of when I first time came into Kamloops and met my friends.
  2. What I enjoyed connecting with it? I enjoyed how it can give me a peace of mind whenever I am stressed out about midterms or finals. The air and views makes me feel like I can disconnect from reality, relax and slow down for a moment in life.
  3.  What theme I found it easiest to connect to? I would say chapter 4 when we were discussing about how we should respect nature. When I am at my spot, it makes me appreciate nature, especially when I can see the view of the mountains. I grew up in the Philippines where I am always surrounded with nature, by just seeing the views of the mountain. It made me reminiscent my childhood.
  4.  One thing I am really grateful about my spot is that it can be quiet, how it can help me relax. It’s hard to be relaxed especially when I as a student being in school since there is always the thought of have I finished my assignments, have I studied for my exams. So whenever I am in my spot, it helps me relax and just forget about those thoughts for a moment.
  5. I think one thing my place may be grateful of me is that I always try to clean up any of the garbages that other students have left. I try my best to keep the place as clean as possible
